Taking a look into the Event Trends of 2015 at Reception Palace

At Reception Palace we put on over 100 events a year. We take pride in hosting and organizing these events with care and attention to the detail. We thought it would only make sense to share some of the trends that we are seeing, and show you how to use them in your next event.

We are bringing you into the world of Event Trends for 2015.

Have you seen the “Color of the year?”

Pantone’s Marsala

What do you think? At first, we weren’t sure. Then when we started looking at different ways we can use it and it grew on us.

We created an inspirational board showing you how you can incorporate the color of the year in your event. No need to over do it, simple and elegant touches will always work. Add a little or alot, Marsala looks gorgeous with accents of Gold.

Lighting will always be an Event Trend

We feel this will always be an essential part of every event. Lighting plays a significant role in the design of every beautiful wedding and event in 2015 as it brings a new life on every celebration, taking the party to another level. Lighting helps set the tone for the evening – it illuminates the venue, shows off all the details that you work so hard at planning. And let’s face it, we all look great in the right lighting. This trend is here to stay.

Here are some examples how we transform our rooms at Reception Palace.

Flowers

While peonies,  hydrangeas, spray roses and garden roses are popular this year- 2014 was the year of clear vases and vintage jars. For 2015, we will see “Grand” statement pieces, vases and color ways to display these floral centerpieces. Here are few that we love, we look forward to seeing more of these in 2015.

While we don’t have crystal balls, we can tell you what we see on a regular basis and what we think will take off in our area.

Wedding Dresses

We couldn’t go on any further without mentioning the obvious.

What bridal couture is trending right now?

Strapless,  A Line, Lace dresses are always at the top of our list  This style flatters almost all figures, is lightweight and you feel like a true Princess.

Plunging Neckline, Mermaid fitted.

With or without belts.

However, belts are a great way to change the look of your dress without having to go to the expense of purchasing an entirely another dress if you are looking to make a change from ceremony to reception. If your hair is up for the ceremony, take it down for the reception, add a statement necklace and you have a new look!

Plunging neckline Fit & Flare

We love to watch our clients come to us with their vision, turn it into a reality and see them enjoy the evening. Whether you interpret these trends into your vision or not- you will stand out and we will help you make your dream come true!
